Data Lynx Tools is a collection of browser-based utilities for working with images, PDF documents and icon files. The focus is on keeping the steps between you and a finished file as short as possible.

How your files are handled
The tools are built so that your files are read and processed inside your own browser using the capabilities available there. When you select a file from your device, that file is not sent to a Data Lynx server in order to be compressed or converted.
Under the current design of the service, copies of the files you select are not stored in a Data Lynx database once processing finishes. The resulting file is produced on your device for you to download.
That said, no internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. We therefore recommend a current browser and operating system, and avoiding untrusted devices when handling sensitive documents.
